Occam's Razor

Cool title eh, i think it has relevance, but i'm lazy.

Just got back from Glor's church talk about devolving Evolution by Glori's FRIENds. Hahahaha.

I was reading Genesis with a bible guide and got quite sian. Cos i couldn't take the 6-day creation literally. For example, i believe in dinosaurs but then the bible doesn't really mention much about dinosaurs so does it mean they never existed and God just put the fossils in there hahaha. (Oh but glor says there's this stuff about behemoths in Job that could be reference to dinosaurs) And then even if they did, what was the deal with dinosaurs? Haha i think that the dinosaurs around for a reason too. Without them where would all our fossil fuels come from huh. Wait so then Glor told me there was this talk about evolution and so it just seemed so COINCIDENTAL and i went.

I think science is just another religion which hides behind logic and a prejudice against the supernatural.

I don't like bible guides. They're rigid and sometimes they're just weird. But then misinterpreting is another thing also. Oh well.

Soo, I believe that God directed evolution. Cos it just seems logical to me. And i'm happy that there are others like me who believe in an old earth.

I miss being a kid, when science and religion were distinctly and blissfully separate. I would read all my nice fact books with pictures and then listen to the stuff like Daniel and the lions and Jesus feeding the five thousand and then happily go play.

And sometimes i can't really come to grips with man being superior to animals and stuff. I dunno it just irks me i don't think God should have favourties. But i don't see an inanimate rock as being the same as a sheep as well. As random evolution would suggest. See it does devalue life. I guess my finite brain can't really understand the bigger picture. And i'm sleepy now so i can't really think straight and i'd really hate to delete what i've typed as nonsensical as it may be.

Life has been interesting. Went national stadium with Ian Mel, Jy and some other ppl to watch the first leg of the Singapore-Thailand AFC finals. Quite exciting, especially the walk-off hahaha. Actually i think thailand was the better team but then Singapore was lucky :D But of course i support Singapore. Hope they win later today. The stadium was like completely full that day and then after the game, it took the bus like 1 hour to just get out of the the stadium area.

Then yesterday there was class outing. It was fun catching up with everyone and reminiscing CSP lectures and etc.

Annd.. Work sucks. Its boring and i get paid peanuts. And somtimes i get home so late like if i go out after work that i don't even feel like playing computer and watching tv already. Hey and those are important aspects of life k. Its not about going out after work, gym and dinnering is fun. Its just work. But i think i already have it easy. I don't think i'll get such flexible working hours in the future. Baaaahhhhh i miss school. I never really understood what the seniors meant everytime they came back and told us to treasure our time while we were still in school. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.

Whoops i fell asleep. Well me and Cy have been going to the gym, for the sake of the bdoabs. Ok a few times only but we'll go more next next week. I've already got nicely skinned knees.

And i think hypocrisy is no big deal. I'm an idealistic sort of person. But context, context. I have no idea what i'm talking about now, too random.
